The Golden Girl singer said this in an interview with NET at the Star Trek Artistes Sign-on Party.
“Winning the Grammys is the ultimate thing and the ‘Magician’ has to be the first Nigerian artiste to win it, Grammy is the goal for me,” BlackMagic said.
He won’t be first Nigerian to pursue the highly-rated awards, with other acts like Skales & 9ice having also showed a desire to bring it home in the past.
So far, the only Nigerian who has been nominated for the award is Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti.
